Knitting
Knitted Monkey
I absolutely love knitting up toys. Squishy, soft, and so cute. This knitted monkey immediately jumped out at me when I was paging through Itty Bitty Toys by Susan B. Anderson. The little tuft of hair on top, the stripey-ness of his body, and the little smirk he has on his face had me hooked.
There were several little pieces to knit up and then attach but he was so worth a little extra effort. Once again, I had to giggle when I finished him. He is just so funny. A friend of mine is expecting a little boy in a few weeks and has monkeys decorating her nursery so he will fit right in.

I’m excited, cuz I got yarn to make a stuffed animal, too. Bet you can’t guess which one!

I love this little guy (and the hippo too). It really makes me want to learn to knit more than a simple scarf. I am featuring this today on my Facebook page.
